LOS ANGELES, CA (June 11, 2014)
Rock’s favorite environmentalist TJ Doyle is making a triumphant return to the stage at LA’s iconic music venue “The Mint” on Tuesday, June 17, at 9:15 p.m.! TJ last captured audiences with stunning performances on the Sunset Strip’s “The Roxy” and “Whisky A Go Go,” building on a strong community of dedicated fans and followers, and cementing a prestigious musical legacy.
“It’s truly an honor to play at The Mint where so many other great artists have shined,”
Along with his band of six, comprising of a guitarist Mark Bouras, bassist Tad Wadhams (Sheryl Crow), drummer Jamaal Cody, keyboardist, Phil Parlapiano (John Prine, Tracy Chapman) and two backup singers Celia Chavez (Julio Iglesias) and Jamila Ford, TJ will be performing new works from his forthcoming effort On The Horizon, co-produced by himself and Grammy-award winner Tom Weir at Studio City Sound.
In rotation will be the first ever performed album version of TJ’s 2nd pre-released single, “Favorite Places,” an up-tempo earth anthem mixed by Bill Smith (Yes, Toto, John Fogarty.) The evening will also include performances by Americana songstress Amy LaVere and folk rock band Jim Wurster & Hired Hand.
A champion for the environment and the earth’s sustainment, TJ Doyle’s lyrics express a pro-love and pro-environment message, touching on major world issues and our role in preserving the earth for future generations.
On The Horizon is slated for release on iTunes, Amazon and other retail outlets on July 7,
